St. Anthony City Council lowers speed limits to increase pedestrian safety
On June 23, 2020, the St. Anthony City Council adopted a plan to implement lower speed limits to 25 mph on city-owned roads, to increase pedestrian safety, and support our mission to be a progressive and welcoming Village, that is walkable, sustainable and safe.
City staff will install new speed limit signs beginning June 24, 2020 and will continue until all the old signs have been replaced with the new 25 mph signs. The new lower speed limit will go into effect as soon as the sign is up.
