Third Dog License

  1. Section 91.05; Special Multiple Dog License Allowing three (3) dogs over six (6) months of age per household.

    All residents wanting to own three (3) dogs over the age of six (6) months  need to complete the application and process below. 

    □  Written Approval*: The filing of written approval of the occupants from at least 75% of the residential  property within 200 feet of the licensed premised.

    *If not provided, the City will send letters to all residents within 200 feet of your residence notifying them of the application and the process to direct any concerns. Those residents will have 10 days to respond.

    □  Fenced Yard: The yard of the licensed premises is fenced in such a manner as to restrain the dogs on the premises from leaving the yard.

    Nuisance: Dogs kept on the license premised do not create a nuisance by excess barking or by creating unsanitary conditions.

     □ Denial of Application: The Chief of Police may deny requests for renewal of a special multiple dog   license based upon complaints received during the preceding year. In the event of such a denial, the applicant may, within ten (10) days of being advised of the denial, request, in writing, a hearing before the City Council on the denial.

    Fee: Third Dog Licensing fee of $20 is paid and renewed yearly on or before March 1st.

    Payment can be sent or dropped off at the St. Anthony City Hall at 3301 Silver Lake Rd, St. Anthony, MN 55418.

  2. City will send letters to residents within 200 feet of your residence if not submitted.
