The Planning Commission makes recommendations to the City Council on planning issues, such as variances, conditional use requests, zoning issues, and city code amendments.

Members


The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council. Terms are three years in length, with appointments made in January.

   

About the Commission


The Planning Commission advises the City Council on planning and zoning issues. The Commission also reviews plats and other land subdivisions, site plans for commercial and industrial buildings, rezoning requests, variances, conditional use permits, and other land use issues. Their recommendations are then presented to the City Council for final approval.
