Friday, August 25th, Hennepin County crews will mill the surface of 37th Avenue from Silver Lake Road to Highcrest Road. Repaving of the roadway will occur on Saturday, August 26th. Following the resurfacing of the roadway, the final striping and traffic control on 37th Avenue will reflect the 4 to 3 lane conversion.
This project is part of a larger Hennepin County project along 37th Avenue in Columbia Heights and Minneapolis.
Detour Information for 37th Avenue and Stinson Blvd Intersection:
On Monday, August 28th, the intersection at 37th Ave NE & Stinson Blvd will be closed for presumably 3 days as part of the Minneapolis/Columbia Heights street reconstruction project. Westbound 37th Ave traffic will be detoured to Silver Lake Rd and 33rd Ave NE.
