The St. Anthony Police Department continues to participate in the Catalytic Converter Theft Prevention Program in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Commerce.

This program provides label kits at no cost that can be installed on catalytic converters to permanently mark them and deter theft.  Labels can be installed by the vehicle owner or by one of our local auto repair partners (a list of those partners will be provided upon obtaining the kit).

This program is now in effect for St. Anthony and Lauderdale residents.  You must own one of the vehicles shown below, or have been a previous victim of a catalytic converter theft to qualify for a label.  If you qualify and are interested in obtaining a label kit, please stop by the St Anthony Police Department between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Mon- Fri. Please bring your driver’s license, license plate number, and VIN number for your vehicle.

Please contact Officer South at jim.south@savmn.com for further information regarding the label kit.
