We have implemented changes this year, such as social distancing to keep everyone safe. Please review the following information if you are interested in participating at this year's clean-up event.

  1. Sign up for a time slot to drop off items
  2. Arrive on time
  3. Please stay in your vehicle
  4. Staff will give you a price for your items, and unload them from your vehicle for you
  5. You will be billed on your third quarter water bill or receive a separate invoice

APPLIANCES 
Appliances accepted include: stoves, washers, dryers, residential furnaces, dishwashers, water heaters, trash compactors, garbage disposals, humidifiers and dehumidifiers.
$15.00 each (air conditioners, refrigerators, freezers, water softeners - $25.00)
BATTERIES - Household batteries: Alkaline batteries purchased after 1993 such as A’s, C, D and 9 volt,are safe to place in the trash. Auto- $1.00 Commercial- $10.00 Lithium, NiCad, Li-Ion, NiMH, etc.-$2.00 Truck- $7.50 Laptop-$2.00
CARDBOARD  no charge for City residents
CLOTHING  The Goodwill will be accepting clothing in good condition. Clothing should be in boxes or bags.
DOCUMENT SHREDDING  no charge for City residents.
ELECTRONICS - TechDump a non-profit organization will be accepting electronics.  $15.00 each-Electronics that will be accepted includes computers, televisions, audio equipment, VCR’s, DVD’s, microwave ovens.

FLUORESCENT BULBS 

no charge for City residents.
FURNITURE AND HOUSEHOLD ITEMS- in good condition will be accepted by Bridging.  Household items should be in working condition; breakable items should be wrapped in paper. Donation receipts will be available. Items that are worn, stained, torn, broken, or missing pieces will be considered solid waste and charged a volume-based fee.
   
HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS WASTE – Not Accepted  
JUNK CARS  Freeway Towing will provide free junk car disposal. Please call 651-633-5525 to register your vehicle to be picked up. Car owners must provide Freeway Towing with the title of the vehicle or a bill of sale.
LAWN & GARDEN (all gas/oil needs to be removed)

$10.00-chain saws, pressure washers, lawn mowers (push), roto-tillers, weed whips, snow blowers, and leaf blowers
$25.00-lawn mowers, (riders)
MATTRESS & BOX SPRING 
$35.00 each
MISCELLANEOUS ITEMS

$2.00-smoke detectors $5.00-power tools $10.00-air compressors, grills & generators $10.00-Small propane tank $25.00-large propane tank
MISCELLANEOUS JUNK & CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS -  Volume based fee. Trunk Load - $10 to $20 Charge per carload - $25 - $50 (depending on the size of the vehicle)
SCRAP METAL  $5.00 per load
TIRES – (priced per tire)

Passenger car tire/Lt. Truck-$5.00 per tire Semi-truck tires-$10.00 per tire Other larger tires-$20.00 per tire
Tires with rims additional $1.00 per tire
TREE & BRUSH WASTE  Volume based fee. Trunk load - $10 to $20 & Charge per carload - $25 - $50 (depending on the size of the vehicle)

The City reserves the right to refuse any item and reserves the right to recover materials from the materials it receives for reuse or recycling.
